UVPN was part of Batch 2 – Peace and Security, a Masterclass organized by ACTED, featuring Atty. Naguie G. Ibrahim, RN, SH.C. as the lecturer and Mr. Bong B. Lumabao, LPT, Ph.D., as the Guest Speaker. The attendees included representatives from AFP, CIDG/PNP, Reservists Group across Maguindanao, and NGOs/CSOs.

UVPN members Ms. Norsayllah Dansalan and Ms. Sittie Airah Kamad were one of the 25 youth leaders who participated and joined the Basic Integrated Theater Arts Workshop (BITAW) on July 21-23, 2023 at the PETA Theater Center in Quezon City, Metro Manila.
In the recently concluded Civic Education Summit 2023 organized by YouthLed PH, UVPN provincial coordinators for YouthLed youth networks in BARMM joined as BARMM delegation and filled in active roles during the program. The Civic Education Summit is an annual gathering of thinkers and practitioners to discuss the state of civic education in the country.

CSO partners of CBCS for the SUBATRA’s CSO component gathered in Davao City last March 8-11, 2023 to plan for the set of activities for 2023 and to level off with financial management policies.

UVPN members Ms. Aina Minsu and Ms. Melanie Tantong who hold finance positions participated in a Financial Management and Communications Training organized by the Switzerland-based INGO, Geneva Call.

In the effort to unify the position of Civil Society Organizations in BARMM regarding the Bangsamoro Electoral Code, Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) organized a platform for CSOs to discuss, review, and comment on the proposed bill.
